Last week, Rav Aharon Berl, Rav of the Columbus Avenue Shul of Lakewood, paid a visit to his kehilla’s partner kollel.
Rav Berl was greeted by the Rosh Kollel of Kollel Ohel Aharon of Kehillas HaPerushim, Rav Aharon Yehuda Grossman. After spending time conversing in learning with the yungeleit, the entire kollel gathered for a brief kabbolas ponim in honor of Rav Berel. At the kabbolas ponim the Rosh Kollel formally introduced Rav Berl and emotionally thanked his kehillah, deeming them true partners in the Torah learned in the kollel exclaiming, “It is their efforts that have been instrumental in enabling the yungeleit to learn with peace of mind.”
Rav Berl then delivered an in-depth shiur to the yungeleit on the sugya that they were learning. The hour long shiur was a masterpiece of depth and breadth.
Rav Berl also visited Rav Yehoshua Dovid Turchin, Rav of the Kehillas HaPerushim.
