Last week an important meeting transpired at the home of the Lakewood Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler, shlita.
Adopt-a-Kollel National Director, Rabbi Yankel Bernfeld and Eretz Yisroel coordinator, Rabbi Moti Weinberger together with Lakewood coordinator Rabbi Shmuel Weiss, sat down with the Rosh Yeshiva and gave him a comprehensive report on Adopt-a-Kollel’s accomplishments thus far and their goals for the future. Rabbi Weinberger also gave the Rosh Yeshiva a firsthand report from the field in Eretz Yisrael explaining the transformative impact that the monthly support from partner kehillos and businesses were having on the needy yungeleit in Eretz Yisrael. Needless to say, the Rosh Yeshiva was deeply impressed and pledged to assist the organization in meeting its goals in any way that he could.
