The Rhine family is the first Adopt-a-Kollel partnership undertaken by an extended family. The family adopted Kollel Mayim Chaim of Yerushalayim headed by Rosh Kollel, Rav Simcha Yehuda Rosenbaum, in memory of their father, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Rhine.
Last week, some members of the extended family, accompanied by Adopt-a-Kollel Midwest Coordinator, Rabbi Suchi Ehrman, visited their partner kollel. They were welcomed by Rav Rosenbaum and the yungeleit. A special mesibah was made in their honor and Rav Rosenbaum thanked them for their partnership with the kollel in their avodas Hakodesh.
