One of the things that most strengthens an Adopt-a-Kollel partnership is when the Rabbi or members of the community in the diaspora visit their kollel and see it in action. Invariably, after witnessing the dedication to learning and the middot tovot of the Avreichim, they become even more connected with their Kollel and the avreichim and felling a true sense of kinship.
That is what happened last week, when Rabbi Shaul Maslaton, Rabbi of The Ahi Ezer Congregation of Flatbush visited Kollel Tiferes Yosef of Ashkelon, led by its Nasi, Rav Sion Zafrani.
Rabbi Maslaton, delivered a shiur and words of chizuk to the avreichim expressing his sense of deep gratification that he and his congregants have the zechut to partner with such a wonderful Kollel.
