The Lakewood communities of Ocean Pointe and Lakeview located on Rt. 88, have been Zoche to maintain a very close relationship with their Adopt-a-Kollel, Rosh Kollel, Rav Avrohom Ber Blatt, Rosh Kollel of Kollel Pischei She’arim of Kiryat Sefer. Rav Blatt, who is a talmid of Rav Meir Hershkowitz and Rav Yitzchok Soloveichik, pays fairly frequent visits to the kehillah and has forged close relationships with many of the members of the kehillah and their Rabbanim.
Rav Blatt spent Shabbos Parshas Va’eira with the kehillos and presided over a beautiful Oneg Shabbos at the home of Reb Yossi Karmen.
