One of the challenges that Roshei Kollel who want to join the Adopt-a-Kollel network face is trying to find a kehillah that will partner with them. Not all Roshei Kollel have a close connection with a kehillah in Chutz L’aretz that they can approach.
We had a number of Teleconferences with Roshei Kollel together with our coordinator for Eretz Yisroel, Rabbi Motti Weinberger. During the sessions, Roshei Kollel were interviewed and the parties brainstormed on giving the Roshei Kollel the tools to better understand the process and how to proactively seek kehillos. The Roshei Kollel found the sessions extremely informative and useful in their quest to partner with kehillos or businesses in Chutz L’aretz.
