K’hal Rayim Ahuvim of Lakewood, headed by Rav Dov Kahan, hosted two distinguished guests on Shabbos Parshas Vayishlach. One was Rav Yitzchok Zev Zaks, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Knesses Hagedolah and a son of Rav Hillel Zaks, founder of the yeshiva and a grandson of the Chofetz Chaim. The other guest was Rav Avrohom Garnovsky, Rosh Kollel of Yeshiva Knesses Hagedolah. The kollel has partnered with K’hal Rayim Ahuvim.
On Friday night, an oneg Shabbos was held at the home of Reb Shmuel Zaks. On Shabbos morning, Rav Yitzchok Zev addressed the kehillah.
