On Shabbos Parshas Balak, a kiddush celebrating the newly formed Adopt-a-Kollel partnership between Bais Medrash Kehal V’Yoel Moshe of Satmar in the Bates neighborhood of Monsey, was celebrated. The shul has partnered with Kollel Yad Chaya Pessel of Beit Shemesh led by Rosh Kollel, Rav Notta Rabinowitz.
Rav Shulem Rokeach, Rav of Skohl Monsey, gave a powerful address to the kehillah wherein he outlined Adopt-a-Kollel’s mission and how the partnership works.
On Thursday 22 Tammuz/July 5, a sign up event was held at the home of Reb Yehoshua Nachman Berger. The Rav of the Bais Medrash, Rav Pinchos Yehuda Katz, addressed the crowd and a special address was given by Rav Berel Goralnik, R”M of Yeshiva Me’or Yitzchok.
