Rav Eliezer Dovid Rappaport, Rav of Khal Zichron Avrohom Yaakov of Flatbush made a special trip to Eretz Yisroel last week to participate in a siyum on Masechta Eruvin that the yungeleit in the Kollel have recently completed.
Kollel Imrei Yosef of Bnei Brak led by Rosh Kollel Rav Naftoli Heisler who has a deeply warm and personal relationship with Rav Rappaport and members of the kehillah that he has met. Rav Rappaport gave a powerful drasha at the siyum expressing the great fortune that he and his kehillah feel about being partners with such a distinguished kollel and such an illustrious Rosh Kollel. Reb Itche Rosenbaum and Adopt-a-Kollel coordinator for the New York region, Reb Chaim Heller also attended the siyum.
The spirited singing and dancing that followed was a testament to the vibrant simcha shel mitzvah that permeated the event.
