Visits from members of partner kehillos are always greeted with great enthusiasm by both members of the Kollel and the Kehillah in chutz l’aretz. The kehillah members are invariably inspired at seeing the Kollel in action and seeing how much their partnership is accomplishing on behalf of the Kollel. The members of the kollel are thrilled to meet yidden from chutz l’aretz who value Torah so deeply that they have undertaken monthly support for a kollel in Eretz Yisroel.
Last week, Reb Avrohom Yeshaya Sonnenschein, a member of Bais Medrash Ohel Aharon of Lakewood, led by Rav Moshe Whel, visited, Kollel Bnei Yehuda of Kiryat Sefer.
Reb Avrohom Yeshaya was greeted by rosh kollel, Rav Yehuda Aryeh Cohen, and many of the yungeleit. After introductory remarks welcoming the guest, Reb Avrohom Yeshaya addressed the Kollel. He then pulled out a stack of envelopes from his pocket and personally gave an extra bonus check to each one of the yungeleit as a token of appreciation from the kehillah.
