One of the beautiful byproducts of an Adopt-a-Kollel partnership is the level of involvement that can sometimes encompass all segments of the community. That is what has happened in the partnership between the shul at the Chicago Community Kollel led by Roshei Kollel, Rav Dovid Zucker and Rav Moshe Francis and their partner Kollel, Kollel Choshen Mishpat-Ohel Yosef in Eretz Yisroel.
A large group of girls who are students at the Bais Yaakov of Chicago recently raised thousands of dollars for Kollel. Rebbetzin Craindel Mannes, the Menaheles of the School, and a daughter of the Rosh HaYeshiva of Telshe Rav Chaim Dov Keller, shlita, gave a special address to the girls and impressed upon them the magnitude of the schar for their efforts on behalf of hachzakas haTorah.
The Rebbetzin later told Rabbi Yankel Bernfeld that she feels so thankful that their school and her talmidos are able to be part of such a remarkable mitzvah.
