The coordinators and staff of Adopt a Kollel came out feeling very enthusiastic from this year’s coordinator meeting.
The main topic discussed was Effective Ways of Keeping the full Staff of Adopt a Kollel Apprised of each Partnership. B”H since the organization has grown exponentially over the last few years, and our staff spans over 3 continents, it has become more and more necessary to have systems in place to keep all parties up to date so they can effectively do their jobs. Ideas were discussed how to report partnership updates to the Adopt a Kollel office as well.
Software Presentation:
Reuven Mashitz and Shmuel Barkin presented to us the details of our upcoming software which will help our organization run more smoothly. We also had the opportunity to see a preview of how the software will actually work once finished.
Agudah Yarchei Kallah:
Agudah has announced the upcoming Yarchei Kallah in E”Y. Adopt a Kollel sees it as a priority to always encourage visits between Kehillah and Kollel, All the more so now, we’d like to encourage Rabbanim and shul members to take the opportunity to join the Agudah Yarchei Kallah and visit their Kollelim. R’ Avrohom Nissim Perl offered to place any Rov who plans to join. As well, R’ Itche offered to sponsor tickets so that Rabbanim can go, preferably with a group of Shul members as well.
