On Chol Hamoed Sukkos, Congregation Bais Medrash of Cedarhurst, held a well-attended simchas bais hashoeiva in honor of its Adopt-a-Kollel partner Rosh Kollel, Rav Naftoli Aryeh Spiegel, son of their Rav Rav Dovid Spiegel. Rav Spiegel is Rosh Kollel of Kollel Yekar Oraysah of Yerushalayim. The Kehillah has a special fondness for the Rosh Kollel, as he grew up in the shul, and has grown into a talmid chochom of stature. The Rosh Kollel gave a riveting address wherein he publicly depicted the impact that the partnership and support of the shul has done for the yungeleit in the kollel.
